Features & Improvements
Added a COURSE_OFFERING_DELETED
trigger, which critics everywhere hailed as "conspicuously missing", to the new API (which you can get access to by asking us on the Discord API forum).
Supplied the Financial Aid > Awards, Aid Applications, and Admissions > Applications reports with a Has Active Student Role filter condition, which observers called "would be really handy to have".
Bugfixes
Fixed a registration scenario that we weren't enjoying: Say you had two courses: ENG101 and ENG102. 101 is a prerequisite for 102. A student enrolls in 101 in the Fall and 102 in the following Spring. Then the student—get this—drops 101! The nerve! Anyway, he drops 101, which means he should be then withdrawn from 102... but he isn't. Made it so he can't pull nonsense like this any longer. Drop 101, you get dropped from 102, kid. Capisce?
Videos and Focus Sessions
Next week's Focus Sessions will, um, focus on:
- Introduction to Populi zooms in on setting up your Populi account, logging in, adding new users, login approvals, roles, search, basic reporting, Populi's global settings and so on. This will be most useful to Populi Account Administrator and Academic Admin users. It's scheduled for March 7th, 2023, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
- Introduction to Academics sets its gaze upon setting up academic years, terms, programs, degrees, the course catalog, course instances, enrollment, and so on. This will be most useful to Registrar and Academic Admin users. It's scheduled for March 9th, 2023, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
