Assignment pages in courses have a new enrollment status filter. Got a lot of auditing students you're letting submit work? Now you can pare that list of students down to show just those students (among other uses you might think of).
And on the Course > Roster > Student name > Assignments view, there's a new checkmark indicator for when a student has submitted a particular assignment.
Bugfixes
Fixed some errors that shouldn't have been rearing their ugly heads when importing a QTI question bank.
Fixed a bug that would forget the applicant's selection for the Specialization field when he'd try to submit the initial application form.
You couldn't delete a To-Do attached to a deleted person, leading to undead To-dos crying out to be done that could never be silenced. Until now.
If you manually set a discussion to Comments Closed = Yes, it simply didn't work. Students could continue to submit comments. Discussions would continue. The collaborative learning wouldn't stop. While this sounds like a dream to some, it was a waking nightmare for others. Unsanctioned discussion continued unabated until we fixed the bug.
Videos and Focus Sessions
Next week the Sessions will Focus upon:
- Introduction to Financial Aid: This one dives into aid settings, awards, packaging aid, disbursements, aid applications and so on. This will be most useful to Financial Aid and Financial Admin users. It's scheduled for March 28th, 2023, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
- Introduction to a little thing we like to call Populi: Here's one that works through setting up your Populi account, logging in, adding new users, login approvals, roles, search, basic reporting, Populi's global settings and so on. This will be most useful to Populi Account Administrator and Academic Admin users. It's scheduled for March 30th, 2023, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
