May 1 to May 5, 2023 Release Notes

Features & Improvements

There's a new trigger for automations that's pulled whenever a student submits an online test.

Course Catalog exports now include a column with course equivalencies.

Export Helpers, when used by Financial users who are exporting a person-based report, will have a new column option for Default Tuition Schedule.

Bugfixes

Graded Discussions weren't creating events on personal calendars (even though they created events on course calendars). We've righted this wrong.

Browse Resources over in Library wasn't finding itself willing or able to pull results with zero checkouts. We've amended this malady.

Videos and Focus Sessions

Next week's Focus Sessions will take you by the hand and guide you through...

  • Introduction to Billing: Get going with pending charges, invoices, transactions, payments/credits, tuition schedules, fees and so on. This will be most useful to Financial Admin and Student Billing users. It's scheduled for May 9th, 2023, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
  • Introduction to Degree Audit: Get the skinny on programs, degree requirements, course groups, course mapping, exceptions, transcripts and so on. This will be most useful to Academic Admin and Registrar users. It's scheduled for May 11th, 2023, 11:00 AM Pacific time.

In this fresh new episode of the Populi Show, Josh and Brendan preview HTML Layouts, have a look at Student Types and Course Delivery Methods, zoom over some end-of-term stuff for faculty, and discover that Josh has been eating the decorations.
