Features & Improvements

The API now lets you create new tag definitions—so you can create a new tag and then later start adding it to people.

The Feds are at it again! Now those bureaucratic rascals are requiring schools to submit "Campus-based" FWS totals, per student, per calendar year, so they can use these numbers to calculate Student Aid Index for the 2024-25 award year. So we added some squiggles and whirligigs to the parts of Populi that talk to COD so they can get that information from you.

The Home Country and Citizenship fields in the Data Slicer now show the country name alongside the 2-letter country code.

Bugfixes

Fixed some stuff in print layouts to deal with "escaping handlebars", "padded date-time formats", and "term statement payment source variables." I think I know what the last one is. The middle one is some nerd thing I think. And the first one actually sounds a bit ominous.

Made sure that rubric scores display properly for students on the mobile apps. Because they weren't before.

Upcoming focus sessions incluuuude:

• Introduction to Admissions: Close out 2023 with a stroll through application settings, designing your application, processing applications, managing leads and so on. This will be most useful to Admissions and Admissions Admin users. It's scheduled for December 19th, 2023, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
• Introduction to Running Courses: Ring in 2024 with a look at course settings, lessons, assignments, discussions, tests, grading, and so on. This will be most useful to Academic Admin, Faculty, and Teaching Assistant users. It's scheduled for January 2nd, 2024, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
• Introduction to Billing: Settle into 2024 with a session about pending charges, invoices, transactions, payments/credits, tuition schedules, fees and so on. This will be most useful to Financial Admin and Student Billing users. It's scheduled for January 4th, 2024, 11:00 AM Pacific time.

Josh talks about locks on student accounts, because sometimes you just gotta clamp down on things.
