Features & Improvements

You can now open up online enrollment for an academic term on any date before that term's add-drop date. In days of yore long ago (Monday morning of this week, actually), you had to put that date somewhere between the previous term's add-drop date and that of the enrollment term. After contemplating this feature, we determined that we must've built it that way solely to annoy registrars, so we went and changed it.

Found a bug that wouldn't post emails to a person's activity feed if:

  • You copied it to your Populi dropbox
  • You have an é in your name

Honestly, that one's kind of funny. I get how we missed that in testing way back when we built dropboxing, but what I don't get is how we even figured out that the problem was the accent in the sender's name. We're not putting people on the moon anymore, but we do have the know-how to root out accent-borne email dropboxing errors.
