February 19 to February 23, 2024 Release Notes

Features & Improvements

Recurring payments and donations now have new interval options (and settings to enable some and disable others):

  • Weekly
  • Every 2 weeks
  • Every 4 weeks
  • Monthly
  • Quarterly (every 4 months)
  • Yearly

You can now bulk-email donation receipts as PDF attachments. You can also batch export a .zip file of individual receipt PDFs.

The Academic Term > Schedule view now lets you download an .ics file to subscribe to the term schedule calendar.

In other calendar news, Staff and Faculty can subscribe to room calendars.

We can now set up automations for you that add and remove Locks.

Contacts > People has a Birthday filter condition.

Linked fields in forms can now update housing information in aid applications.

The Individual Payments export in the Billing > Payments/Refunds report has extra columns for Invoice # (that the payment is applied to), Payment Gateway, Gateway Transaction #, and Payment Gateway Processing Fee.

All the financial reports now have those handy checkboxes!

When you enter Program COA categories, those now automatically sum up to the overall Program COA (which you can overwrite if need be).

Added the 2025-2026 Aid Year so you can start doing stuff with it.

HTML Layouts for Overall Financial Statements can now display all paid and unpaid invoices.

Bugfixes

HTML Layouts got some small things fine-tuned:

  • Fixes Print Proof so it proofs the revision you're currently looking at (either Draft or Active).
  • Layouts now remember whether you were last editing the Active or Draft revision and returns you there.

If an email to an inquiry bounces, the email address in question wouldn't display with strikethrough UNTIL we fixed that bug.

Faculty could cancel course meeting times but they couldn't undo that UNTIL we addressed that glaring oversight on our part.

Videos and Focus Sessions

Next week's Focus Sessions are coming up fast:

  • Introduction to Degree Audit: Learn about programs, degree requirements, course groups, course mapping, exceptions, transcripts and so on. This will be most useful to Academic Admin and Registrar users. It's scheduled for February 27th, 2024, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
  • Introduction to Financial Aid: Get the low-down on aid settings, awards, packaging aid, disbursements, aid applications and so on. This will be most useful to Financial Aid and Financial Admin users. It's scheduled for February 29th, 2024, 11:00 AM Pacific time.

While the fellas finish up some other videos, we're combing the archives for the classics. So here's Josh separating the winners from the losers when it comes to course grading.
