Features & Improvements

As we did last week, we're hanging back on releasing new stuff while our schools work on getting the new academic year rolling. But the features are starting to pile up and there'll be some cool new things trickling out before too long!

Oh, wait, there was one thing: you can now look up Advisor = None in the Data Slicer.

Bugfixes

But it never hurts to squash bugs. Here are a couple we stomped on this week:

There's a financial aid setting that controls whether awards will auto-apply to invoices. This was working just fine when you set up a new disbursement and matched it to existing invoices, but if you ever did this:

• Disbursed aid so it became an unapplied payment...
• ...and then invoiced something in a term where said payment should NOT apply...

...then we'd apply that aid payment to that invoice like a bunch of dolts.

Fixed some issues with the Common Cartridge importer that could sometimes results in files not importing correctly.

Videos and Focus Sessions

Another week, another coupla Focus Sessions:

• Introduction to Degree Audit: Get a look at programs, degree requirements, course groups, course mapping, exceptions, transcripts and so on. This will be most useful to Academic Admin and Registrar users. It's scheduled for September 24th, 2024, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
• Introduction to Financial Aid: Take a gander at financial aid settings, awards, packaging aid, disbursements, aid applications and so on. This will be most useful to Financial Aid and Financial Admin users. It's scheduled for September 26th, 2024, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
