Features & Improvements

The new Process Payment function on Profile > Financial lets you run an online payment for a student with the student's relevant billing info pre-filled on the form. There's also a checkbox that lets you waive any convenience fees for that payment. It's nifty, for sure.

Ensmartified the payment screen for students so that if they have a student-level payment plan applied to them, the default payment selector will show a recurring payment based on that plan's payment periods. Also nifty.

Bugfixes

No bugfixes this week. Usually that means that everything's working. Nifty!

Videos and Focus Sessions

Next week is another week that'll feature some Focus Sessions.

• Introduction to Admissions: Always a popular one, this session gets into application settings, designing your application, processing applications, managing leads and so on. This will be most useful to Admissions and Admissions Admin users. It's scheduled for October 8th, 2024, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
• Introduction to Running Courses: Also always a popular one, this'll introduce course settings, lessons, assignments, discussions, tests, grading, and so on. This will be most useful to Academic Admin, Faculty, and Teaching Assistant users. It's scheduled for October 10th, 2024, 11:00 AM Pacific time.

Josh doesn't want you to be paranoid, but it's not paranoia if your charges actually don't match up with your enrollment. He has some pointers if that's the case.
