If a user at your school changes phone numbers (or loses his phone, etc.), he won't be able to receive text notifications until he's able to verify his new number (and remove the old one from his profile). To help a person in this situation, your school's Populi Account Administrator(s) can reset the text number for the user as follows:
This lets the user start receiving verification codes (and other text notifications) at his new number.
- Go to the user's profile.
- Click < in the upper right corner of his profile.
- Select Reset Text Number.
- Choose the email address to which you'll send the reset link.
- Click Send.
The user will receive an email and will follow the steps described in this article.
