August 20 to August 24, 2018 Release Notes

Features & Improvements

Remember when we released the built-in translation feature for Localizations? Well, the actual translations got hung up in customs for awhile, but they've finally been released. You can now base a localization on our built-in translations for Chinese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Bugfixes

Added a subtle little column in gradebook that you won't even notice but that will nonetheless keep the rightmost column from being obscured by a scrollbar.

If you were using the apps to take profile pictures one after another, the app was sticking the same photo on multiple profiles, which kinda defeats the whole purpose of, well, everything. To ameliorate the existential despair caused by this bug, we fixed it.

If a teaching assistant tried to add a rubric to an existing assignment, Populi hocked up an "Oops!" error that didn't help anyone do anything. Now we let the TA add the rubric.

If you used the Tag Results action on the Enrollments report, Populi would only tag the first result. The futility of it all was unfathomable, but the bugfix we deployed is pretty nifty, actually.

The schedule of events on course dashboards was showing stuff that was way too far in the future. We made sure it nipped things in the bud after seven days.
