Features & Improvements

Custom Locks! We first mentioned them on the blog, and now you can read the Knowledge Base article and this morning's announcement.

Unrelated, but related: there's a new getPersonLocksAPI call.

We added a new detail view to the 1098-T report that shows you all the items Populi considers (invoices, payments, etc.) when it calculates the numbers for the tax form (we also firmed up some of the calculations we use for the edge-case scenarios that affect the form). Just click the new magnifying glass icon next to a student's name to see the new view.

You can now filter the Donors report by phone number.

Beta Releases

Beta releases are new or upgraded features that require some "real-world" testing and refinement (by you!) before being given to all our customers.

We released a massive upgrade to Populi's Search functionality.

Likewise, lessons and tests are now available in Populi's mobile apps on a beta basis.

If you'd like to participate in one of these beta releases, let us know in a support request. Some things to keep in mind:

• When you participate, the feature will be turned on for all appropriate users at your school.
• You can choose to participate in one or both of the beta features.
• When the features are ready for everyone, we will release them to all of our customers.

Bugfixes

Fixed a bug where the web version of electronic transcripts couldn't be downloaded in Google Chrome.

Fixed a bug where embedded Instagram links were replacing underscores with slashes and truncating part of the 'Gram URL.
