May 11 to May 15, 2020 Release Notes

Features & Improvements

When issuing bulk refunds from the Student Balances report, you can now select specific aid award types as the refund source.

Added a Currently Enrolled condition to the filter in Contacts > People, which will let Staff users view and email a list of current students.

The Common Cartridge importer now includes LTI links.

The Canvas integration now supports that august product's Override grade feature.

Bugfixes

Fixed up the Save and go to Next Student button in Peer Review assignments that have automatic submission grade criteria to eliminate some needless workarounds.

Zoom updated their password-protection for meetings, so we had to update our stuff to make it match their stuff.

The Data Slicer Payment Plan filter was picking up students who didn't fit the Has Unpaid Invoices filter in queries that combined the two.

Until this week, only Academic Admins and Registrars could set grades via the API. Now Faculty and TA's can do that, too.

Custom receipts weren't playing nice with situations involving financial aid payers.

Enrollment Agreements weren't including pending charges tied to superterms. Sigh.

I love the feature: "Added a Currently Enrolled condition to the filter in Contacts > People, which will let Staff users view and email a list of current students."

However, when I attempt to set that filter, I get the message of "no people returned". What field of data is the filter keying on for "currently enrolled"?

The Currently Enrolled filter appears to be working properly at my institution, in that it shows over 90 students. However, I was wondering if there is a Data Slicer filter, or set of filters, that would reproduce the conditions being used here.

Thus, I am also interested in the answer to Michelle's question.

That filter should return all students who are currently enrolled in a course that's in session (between start and end dates). If you look at the current term in Academics > Academic Term > Students (or terms, for those with concurrent terms), the filter should reproduce that list.

So because our Spring Term ended on May 8th, and our summer term hasn't started, that is why we're returning no records?
