Features & Improvements
We have a new integration with Brightspace. To go along with the new integration, there's also a new article about it.
If you enabled both the Thank You Message and Redirect URL settings on an application form, the message of thanksgiving would appear onscreen for half a nanosecond before the page redirected. But now your expression of gratitude lingers for three entire seconds before the page sends you to the Redirect URL.
If you amend a T4A, you now have the option to mark it thusly.
Added an Email Students action to the Recurring Payments report.
Improved the various checks in the API to help prevent you from adding duplicated people.
Added variables for...
- Program Name
- Program Start Date
- Program Status
- Degree Status
- LDA (Last Date Attended)
- LOA Status
...to the financial statement layouts.
Tightened something down with email addresses shown on multiple profiles: if you email that address, it'll now post only to the profile that has that address marked as Primary.
Bugfixes
Dotted an i and crossed a t with HTML transcript layouts: they now avoid page breaks within terms, which oftentimes led to missing courses or doubled-up column headers and other such nonsense.
Found a way that a really nerdy student could mess around in a browser's developer console to self-enroll in a course that was marked NO SELF-ENROLLMENT, so we shut that down. To our knowledge, the only person who ever did this was one of us, so it's kind of a moot point. But still, we fixed it.
The thing in the API that lets you pull a student's grade report produced a deeply unserious, unhelpful, useless error message if you didn't have an HTML grade report layout marked as "default". Now it has a better error message. Maybe this should go in as a Feature or Improvement. We didn't actually fix a problem. All we actually did was improve a message that tells you that you are the one with the problem.
