December 1 to December 5, 2025 Release Notes

Features & Improvements

We stopped using pop-ups for file downloads. Everywhere. Almost everyone—rightly—has set their browser to block them. Now downloads open a new browser tab.

In our infinite wisdom, we've listed a student's campuses on Profile > Campus Life, something which, in our previously uninfinite wisdom, we hadn't been doing.

The API now makes provision for you updating a form's status.

On the Registration view, the term max enrollment counter now looks at the number of credits a student is enrolled for based on what's entered in the Course > Roster, rather than what's listed on Course > Settings.

Added a variable for Form Notes in the form export layout.

Bugfixes

The Data Slicer's custom field comparison functions weren't really actually working.

Drop-downs for accounts had been inadvertently re-ordered and, to boot, we also broke the type-to-search function.

Course meeting times were paying no mind to school closures

Videos and Focus Sessions

Our elite trainers are prepping for next week's Focus Sessions:

  • Introduction to Admissions: If you're trying to get students to come to your school, sign up to learn about application settings, designing your application, processing applications, managing leads and so on. This will be most useful to Admissions and Admissions Admin users. It's scheduled for December 9th, 2025, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
  • Introduction to Running Courses: If you're trying to get students to learn something, sign up for this look at course settings, lessons, assignments, discussions, tests, grading and so on. This will be most useful to Academic Admin, Faculty, and Teaching Assistant users. It's scheduled for December 11th, 2025, 11:00 AM Pacific time.

Josh takes a break from rehearsals and jam sessions for the upcoming Christmas video to tell students what they can see in a course after it has ended.
