October 18 to October 22, 2021 Release Notes

Features & Improvements

Forms let you collect information from respondents at your school or elsewhere. They're now in a beta release. If you're interested in trying them out for your school, please contact Populi customer support. And while you wait for our trusty code elves to flip the Forms switch for you, have a look at the Introduction/Setup and Response articles in the Knowledge Base.

And that's not all! The People Importer now lets you update Donor Status and Race/Ethnicity.

That's not all, either! We've added the self-registration settings to individual course instances (they previously dwelled only in the course catalog level).

Think that's it? WRONG! There's a new setting that lets you over-write lead info with info from an application when you import that application and link it to a lead.

Don't get too comfy because THE FEATURES KEEP COMIN'! We've alphabetized assignment file download folders by Last Name, First Name.

Ha! Caught you napping! Images added to test questions now display on the Test > Analysis view so you have an easier time re-grading test questions.

Where do you think you're going? What is it, snacktime? No, it's still feature-time! Custom grade modifiers now display wherever grades display for finalized courses.

When will it ever stop? We've added support for multiple email domains to the Google Apps integration.

Okay, done now. That's all. Just bugfixes from here on out.

Bugfixes

Every so often a payment gets over-applied to an invoice (say, a $600 payment gets applied in full to a $500 invoice). Found a few more incidents where this bug did its creepy-crawly thing and dealt with them.

The total amounts displayed for disbursement batches would include amounts from voided transactions. So, so wrong.

Got out the pliers and snapped a TRIPWIRE that would occur when someone paid an application fee on the same day a financial lock was added.

If a user was not logged in when he cancelled his recurring payment from the payment management URL we'd send to his email, the change would be logged as being made by THE SYSTEM and not by the user.

The Allow Students to Accept/Decline Offered Aid setting was not visible to Financial Aid users until we got our act together and moved that to Financial Aid > Settings.

If you deleted a classroom/location from a one-off scheduled course meeting it wouldn't save. Now if you do that it does.

Fixed the Email filter on the Student Balances report so it would stop emailing more people than were shown on the filter.

The FTE calculations on the TRACS report were under-counting.

And you know what? The TRACS report's Graduation History Degree Started on date wasn't accurate, either. It was being kinda high-maintenance this week.

'Twas a bug where if you tried applying a days-into-term payment plan to a single invoice and the term hasn't started yet, the Applied as of time would get set to a future time instead of right now and would mess with the timing of payments applied.

Found a typo in the code that permitted not the exportation of ID Cards from Academics > Faculty.
