Features & Improvements
The Payment Periods report now includes the Export Helper.
You can now use the API to discipline students. One example use case: you set up a monitoring station while students are taking a quiz in class. You've already enmeshed electrodes in the surface of each desk. The monitoring station alerts the API if a student's eyes dart to the right or the left (CLASSIC CHEATING BEHAVIOR), and the API sends a little "warning jolt" through the desktop and into the student's forearms, grabbing his attention and temporarily disabling him, giving him time to reflect on the spiritual, psychological, and—indeed—physical repurcussions of cheating.
UPDATE: I'm just now being informed that this is NOT how you use the API for discipline. Apparently it just lets you add, edit, or delete discipline events on Profile > Student. BOOOOORRRRRIIIIIIIING.
Bugfixes

Videos and Focus Sessions
Next week is hurtling towards us. So are these Focus Sessions:
- Introduction to Running Courses: If your school offers courses (and I hope it does!), you'll get something useful from this look at course settings, lessons, assignments, discussions, tests, grading and so on. This will be most useful to Academic Admin, Faculty, and Teaching Assistant users. It's scheduled for January 20th, 2026, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
- Introduction to Billing: If your school charges for those courses it offers, you'll profit from this look at pending charges, invoices, transactions, payments/credits, tuition schedules, fees and so on. This will be most useful to Financial Admin and Student Billing users. It's scheduled for January 22nd, 2026, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
