April 6 to April 10, 2026 Release Notes

Features & Improvements

Released a number of subtle interface improvements to adding an admissions lead on the mobile apps and a more relevant list of recently-added leads.

If an email template category no longer contains any templates, we now hide that category in the drop-down until you put something back into it.

Bugfixes

If you merged two profiles and the loser's profile still had recurring donations set up on it, those would continue being recorded on the loser's profile, which was dumb. Now those get merged into the winner's profile like they always should've.

Fixed some issues with the ID Photo importer to improve its "disambiguation logic", skip hidden files in .zip archives, and tweak some potentially confusing visual cues in the display. There's also a new notice with instructions for use.

Videos and Focus Sessions

Focus Sessions to keep you cooped inside in front of your computer during this lovely April weather:

  • Introduction to Financial Aid: This one'll cover financial aid settings, awards, packaging aid, disbursements, aid applications, and so on. This will be most useful to Financial Aid and Financial Admin users. It's scheduled for April 14th, 2026, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
  • Introduction to Populi: Here's one that'll get into setting up your Populi account, logging in, adding new users, login approvals, roles, search, basic reporting, Populi's global settings, and so on. This will be most useful to Populi Account Administrator and Academic Admin users. It's scheduled for April 16th, 2026, 11:00 AM Pacific time.

Spring done sprung in earnest, which means some of you might already be thinking ahead to next Fall's admissions and enrollment situation. Josh is right there with you (he doesn't like thinking about Summer at all). Here's an Admissions overview for schools just getting started with admissions that might also be valuable for some of the old hands out there to review their process and see additional options.
