April 13 to April 17, 2026 Release Notes

Features & Improvements

The Leads report needed a Race/Ethnicity filter and we had a spare one laying around so we bolted it on.

Email templates asked us really nice if we would add a variable for {!RECIPIENT_ADMISSIONS_PORTAL_URL!} and we responded in the affirmative.

As if they weren't flavorful enough, the {{programs.totals.cumulative.gpa}} variables for grade report layouts got a tangy new in-progress flavor.

Look, we love the ACH Payment Failed automation—heck, we even built it in for everyone—but when it requested a Payer Email variable, we initially balked. I mean, this thing is perfect, and you don't mess with perfection! But it prevailed, and now you can ask us to over-ride the built-in in case you want the payer's email address in there somewhere.

Bugfixes

The Student Balances report had a small ask for us: that the Has Active Recurring Payment filter would only return people with active recurring payments and not also those with paused or canceled recurring payments.

Admissions > Settings thought that the warning for deleting an application form field was getting a bit too big for its britches. The warning was threatening to "delete an entire page" from your form, when in fact it would only zap the field; the warning is now more moderate.

Course Evaluations implored us for counting lessons, for indeed, they didn't know how to properly count multibyte characters (like Korean, et. al.).

Applications had a question for us. Why, it asked, if you have a FT/HT enrollment selector on the initial form and later in the form have the same selector upon which a conditional field depends does the conditional field not respect the selection the applicant has made? We had no good answer for it so we quietly fixed it.

A conundrum came to us from the API Log in Account > API: sometimes when you'd click an entry, it would give you the information you sought, but other times, it would present a meaningless red error bar. The answer, it turned out, was that something was a little bit broken.
