Features & Improvements
We released absolutely nothing new this week. This was a self-conscious decision on our part, actually. We have several new, incredible features ready to go right now. Tiktok integration with the LMS. A Polymarket widget that lets students place bets in course discussions. An AI-powered button that inexplicably creates a new tuition schedule training video every time you cross-list a course. The new Gym module—track your deadlifts with Populi! We just have to push one button to release all of this. But we're not. Why?
Because you people are addicted to novelty and we're making you do a cold-turkey rehab thing for a week. We've been providing you with cheap dopamine hits with all the improvements we've been making to this tool, but we can't keep enabling you. It's time for a change.
Also, our Chief Technology Officer has been on break and hasn't had a chance to review any of these features. He has a strong sense of ethics and good taste, and we're honestly not sure what he'll think of what the developers have been up to in his absence.
Bugfixes
We had some of the old-style Transcript ready for download notifications hanging around in the codebase that would whitescreen if you clicked them. We tracked them down and tapped the delete key until they were all gone.
Found a bug that depicted students as flunking a course if their Mandatory Pass assignment grade was set to Excused.
The ISIRs report would only sort alphabetically if the ISIR was linked to a person. It needed to do better.
Videos and Focus Sessions
