June 8 to June 12, 2026 Release Notes

Features & Improvements

Eh, nothing this week. But big things are planned for future weeks.

Bugfixes

On Bulletin Boards, if you edited or deleted the latest item you'd posted on there, the little Latest bit at the top wouldn't refresh to reflect the changes. This intolerable state of affairs just couldn't continue.

Term-based custom academic fields didn't like being used in Office-Use-Only questions on forms, to the point that they started doing psychotic things like not letting you save any of your answers. We just couldn't let this keep going on the way it was.

The facilities schedule display looked terrible—events jumbled and overlapping—and there was no way we were going to allow this any longer.

GIFT question imports couldn't handle certain characters and would then do things like import a multiple choice questions as multiple answer and bungling things with matching questions. We firmly rejected this state of affairs.

Videos and Focus Sessions

Next week you'll be tuning in for:

  • Introduction to Running Courses: Why don't you jump in for a look at course settings, lessons, assignments, discussions, tests, grading and so on? This will be most useful to Academic Admin, Faculty, and Teaching Assistant users. It's scheduled for June 16th, 2026, 11:00 AM Pacific time.
  • Introduction to Billing: Hey, take a break from the daily grind to learn about pending charges, invoices, transactions, payments/credits, tuition schedules, fees and so on. This will be most useful to Financial Admin and Student Billing users. It's scheduled for June 18th, 2026, 11:00 AM Pacific time.

Josh'd like to tell you about custom automations.
