November 2 to November 6, 2026 Release Notes

Features & Improvements

In the land of Campus Store Notifications, the course selector drop-down now includes the course campus and term (instead of just the course name and abbreviation).

Address Name formats can now run to multiple lines of text should that prove needful.

We used to cap the notifications about “A student submitt(ing) an assignment in a course you teach” to ten. Now they're capped at way more than that.

Bugfixes

We looked into the logic of the Is Third-Party Aid filter in the Payments/Refunds report... and we didn't like what we saw. It was like a Hieronymus Bosch painting, with weird, hellish bird-beings pecking the eyes out of the reprobate and an export column that only indicated organizations and not individuals (which didn't match what the onscreen report showed). We took drastic measures, re-naming the filter Counts as aid payment and showing Yes for both orgs and people in the export.

The Notify Attendees checkbox in the Calendar's Edit Event dialog was broken. Attendees weren't being notified, and they no doubt missed out on some really cool events. If you or someone you know missed out on a cool event because of this bug, please contact us with extensive documentation proving that A) the checkbox thing messed you up and B) the event was, in fact, really cool; we will review it and, as time allows, may get back to you with a "There, there."

On the public term schedule, location details were hidden from view. According to the developers, all has been revealed.

Course Market was insisting that you hadn't put both corequisite courses in your shopping basket (or whatever we call it) when, in fact, you had.

The built-in Degree Audit print layout was fumbling table rows if there was a page-break in the middle of the table.

The Tin Can importer was broken. No Tin Cans could be imported until we fixed it. Now Populi imports Tin Cans.

Admissions Auditors did not have permission to use the API to call GET /applications, but we gave it to them.

If you were editing a tuition credit, if the associated tuition schedule was retired, it would get all sulky and wouldn't appear in the dialog.

'Twas an error message that manifested itself when you tried to edit a refund-to-source disbursement, going on about how the amount to be refunded exceeded the "cod (sic) net amount of the disbursement"; the error message itself was in error and demanded multiple layers of correction. Now it says something like "The refund amount exceeds this disbursement's available amount" and, presumably, will only appear when that is the case.
