When I put an essay question on a Test, it would be really helpful if I could insert the answer to that particular question. Then, when I am grading those essay questions, I could see the answer I had inputted when I originally made the test. That is really helpful for grading. I know it may come as a surprise ....but I can't remember all the answers to my own questions. :(

Just to bring this back again........I would suggest that putting a plain text field right in either of these spots would give us the option to include the answers to essay questions. What a great help this would be.

Yes, so when you sit down to grade these questions, you may very well have forgotten what the answer is. If you can input the answer when you create the question, then the answer will show when this question comes up for grading. Tremendously helpful. Also as Louriz noted above, when you have TAs helping, they can see what you are looking for in a correct answer.
This would be a helpful option. I would essay questions when I expect student to provide multi-step responses to math problems. Having the option to provide multi-step solutions (vertically instead of horizontally; as with short answer questions) would be nice. Plus, when I forget how to solve the problems I can look back at my solution sequence.
