In order to give our Admissions Admin access to SIN we need to give it to all staff through the staff role. Seems reasonable not to give all staff access to that information but also seems reasonable to give access to Admission Admin since they will be see an applicants SIN when they apply. Is it possible to include to the list of those eligible to see SIN the Admission Admin role?

Brendan O'Donnell Official comment Hi, Kim. When you give someone the Admissions Admin role, Populi automatically adds the Staff role to that person (as it does with several other roles). This article goes into all the details about all the roles.

Kim Cairns Brendan, Thanks I do understand the role. I probably wasn't very clear in my request. At present under security settings Financial Admin, Financial Aid, Registrar and Staff can be given access to SIN. We would prefer not giving all staff roles access in order to give our Admissions Admin access. Admissions are dealing with SIN through the application process and being able to access it and input them into populi would be helpful. So what I am asking is whether Admission Admins might be added to this list. If not that's fine. Just checking.
