Some of our classes have 140 or more students. It would be great to be able to click the "select all" feature on the roster and then have an "unenroll" option to mass unenroll all 140 at once. Unenrolling 140 people from a class is incredibly tedious.

Ric Bruce What's the status on this? We often need to delete and re-create courses, particularly as we're new to the system. We STILL have to unenroll every person manually, one at a time before a course can be deleted.

Adam Sentz @Ric - Is this something you are doing frequently? What sort of situation arises where you need to delete a course that has 140 students enrolled?

Permanently deleted user Yes, I ditto this! Especially when updating historical records, it would be so much easier to just click "unenroll" or change their status from "enrolled" to audit or withdrawn or whatever. Sometimes I'm discovering a record that is off in someone's transcript, or students were imported in from another course and there are students in the course who audited and they were accidentally imported as enrolled. It just seems natural to be able to update the Roster however you want, from the Roster page, not by leaving that page.

Grace Johnson Any updates on this? It is odd that you do have the feature to unenroll or delete a student from a course, but you have to do it one-by-one by going to each student's page>student>edit (courses)>click to the correct term>delete the course>save. That seems like a lot of steps when the opposite feature of adding students to courses is as simple as going to the Course Roster and typing their name to add them. Seems like it'd be simple to add a little trash can next to each student's name on the roster! Yay for trash cans!
The need to delete students from courses is something that happens all the time for us as students might not do things correctly on their end or we might not set up a course and add students correctly on our end! It honestly happens weekly over here. Please, please consider adding an unenroll/delete option to the Roster page! Better yet, being able to select a bunch of students and delete them all would be terrific too. Thanks for the consideration.

Stephanie Weaver I see that you said that we can now bulk unenroll students. With the coronavirus changes, we have a few classes that we are no longer teaching this semester, so I need to unenroll the students to delete the course from their transcript. I don't see how to bulk unenroll. Can you explain how to do this?
