We have had a couple of requests from people who received email reference forms wondering if the prospective student waived their right to see the reference (or not).
Prospective students are typically given the option to waive the opportunity to see the reference if they are admitted and enroll becasue FERPA gives them the right to see. Yet people writing the reference are more comfortable with and give a more accurate reference when the prospective student has waived their right to see it!
We ask the prospective student to waive their right (or not) on the application form, but the information is not transferred to the actual reference. The feature request is that you make that information (whether they waived their right to see it or not) available in the reference form email.
