I was looking into the donor tab to see if we would be able to switch our donation services to Populi but I noticed that Populi is missing a pledge option. In the advancement world it is common for donors to make pledges and then pay the pledge off over a period of time. This would be an important addition to Populi that would need to be made in order to switch our donations to Populi. Also, a tributes feature would be very beneficial too!

Phil Bailey How can Populi serve us well if we are unable to track pledges? Is there another way? We really prefer a way to track pledges. That is important in fund raising.

John Miscavage Populi should add a pledge feature...so we can create a multi-year donor pledge and then apply payments to the pledge record over the life of the pledge. For example, donor made a 5 year pledge of $100,000 on 12/31/2020. On 12/31/2020, he made a $20k payment, on 12/31/2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, donor will make payments of $20k.
If possible, I would then be able to create pledge record (invoice) on 12/31/2020 for $100k and when I received payments, apply those payments to the pledge record/invoice.
