Instructor's Photo is Desirable on Discussion Forum, rather than the Teaching Assistant's Photo

I am a teaching assistant who helps many of the instructors here. The problem we are having is that MY photo is showing up instead of the instructor’s photo on the discussion forums because I am the one setting it up, even though it is the instructor's question. Because of this, the instructors are forced to set them up themselves to ensure that their photo is beside the discussion. Is there any way that the assistant can do this discussion set up for the instructor, and yet link to the instructor’s photo?
