It would be nice to have the ability to prevent Populi from automatically applying new payments to old invoices. Populi recommends that the best way to pay down a student's balance is to apply financial aid first and then student payments but with Populi automatically applying new payments to old invoices the student payment can be applied before the financial aid comes in. I have also noticed that financial aid gets applied automatically to old invoices which is an issue also.

Jacquie Baker I completely agree. There should be options in settings for how the college wants the online payments applied - oldest invoice, newest invoice, choice given. Also, it would be great if someone logged in as an administrator is doing an online payment could choose the invoice to apply to, even if students can't. We have the ability to choose when applying a check payment, but not when taking a student's credit card. I want to be able to add a one-time charge for something and have the student pay it right away without having to manually apply all payments made through the payment gateway.
