We'd LOVE it if we could mark an address for no mailings! I know you can do it for email, but mailing addresses would be good, too.

Suzanne Huffman This is important. In the digital age, we have individuals who have requested that all communication be done through e-mail in an attempt to reduce the amount of paper mail they receive.

Leah Geyer Yes! We have that happen, too. Also, in process of long-term data cleanup, we need to ensure that people who may temporarily need more than one profile (e.g. one with a donor record and one with a student record) until we can switch things over are only receiving one mailing, but we don't want to unattach that contact info/make it hard to find by putting it in notes. It would add much-needed flexibility.

Laurel Penner If I am understanding this correctly, I think we accomplish this with custom tags. Records with a certain tag (Do not Mail, etc) are easily removed from reports or mailing lists.

Leah Geyer We were trying to find a bit less cumbersome way, but that's not a bad idea. I'll talk to the admin about doing that for now. Thanks for the suggestion!

Katie Fischer We would strongly appreciate and benefit from having a feature that allowed us to mark physical addresses with "No Mailings". We are bumping into this needs in regards to alumni, donors, and leads as well. Deleting the information is too much, and tagging them is not noticeable/helpful enough when compiling lists.

Adam Sentz Katie Fischer - If you add a tag to them like "No Mail" and then exclude that tag in your mailing lists they will be excluded automatically so you won't have to rely on noticing that the tag is applied.

Erin Neill This would be a great addition
