Populi courses for training professors

Is there a way to create a class that can have faculty registered as students?

I would like to put our training videos into a lesson on a course page, so that I can have the faculty go through the training in populi, and be able to confirm that they have spent the time watching the content in the lessons?

Is that a setting that we can put on a course page, that doesn't require a person to be an official student in populi? I want to avoid adding a student role to all of my adjunct professor accounts if possible.

Agree - I've wanted to do this as well. In addition to not wanting to add the role if you put faculty into a class there is a charge for them as if they were a student account. I've resorted to just uploading videos and files to the files area but have not way to track who has done what. In Florida faculty need a certain number of hours each year and this would facilitate tracking those hours.
