Would you consider adding the Populi API to the Zapier library? From what I understand it isn't too difficult from your side because you already have a robust API. And it would make integrations so much easier for all of us. Just to add a MailChimp integration would be amazing, but it would add so many more in one fell swoop! Thanks for considering.

Any update on a Zapier integration?
I often dream of a world where my favorite college administration software and the myriad of excellent software tools at our disposal happily get along and work together with little effort... alas my eyelids drowsily awaken to a world far different from the sweet realm of fantasy and I realize that this dream world is yet until now "PLANNED".

My single 2023 new year resolution was to not give up hope for this integration (retroactively speaking).
Populi... would it help if we sent your devs coffee gift cards so they can stay late for a few nights and get this done?!
If I recall, I think one thing that would need to happen for an integration between Populi API and Zapier API is that Populi API responses would need to be changed into the format needed for Zapier to parse them. I'm not sure how hard that would be. I looked into it a little bit myself, to see if I could implement it, but it looked like it would take longer than I had available for the project.
On the other hand, I wonder if at least some of Populi's API could be integrated with Zapier in an easier way using their Webhooks functionality. See https://zapier.com/blog/what-are-webhooks/#use
I don't have an immediate use case for Populi<->Zapier integration, so I am not going to look at this at the moment, but wanted to comment on this here, in case either the Populi devs or anyone else wants to take a look.
At the very least API 2.0 needs to be fully launched first. If you want to be in on the latest with that make sure to join the Discord.
Adam Sentz We are currently working on an integration to bring across attendance data (based on assignment submissions) from Canvas over to Populi. We are using the Populi API currently, but it would be easier if a Zapier integration were available.
Now that API 2.0 has been released, do you have any update on when a Zapier integration might be available?
Yes now that the API v2 is fully released, Zapier integration is getting very near the top of the stack and I'd expect it under active development before too long!

Just read the whole thread starting from 2017 and I salute the many years of user efforts to manifest this feature! Our university really needs this as well.

Many of you have signed up for the Zapier beta and received an invite link. I see that some of you have made good use of it!
After going over our integration with Zapier's developer support, we've concluded that we cannot make the integration fully public at this time. Right now the automations that drive our webhooks can be very complex and we have our own GUI for managing them in Populi. For an integration to be made public to all users, Zapier wants the webhooks to be easily configurable entirely from their side, to help less experienced users. While we may work on adapting this in the future, for now the Zapier integration will be more oriented toward power users.
The good news is that we can continue to send invite links to anyone who asks. Just send support@populi.co an email!
