Registering for group (batch/block) of courses

Could Populi create a feature whereby students could register for a particular group ("batch" or "block") of courses instead of one by one? If that's not possible, then a feature whereby we could register students for particular groups of courses?

Reason for the request: for our graduate program, many courses require prerequisites or build upon other courses such that students must take courses in a specific order. FT students need to take a certain group of courses in their first fall semester, first spring semester, 2nd fall semester, 2nd spring semester, etc. otherwise they won't graduate on time. Registering by group would be a BIG time saver for us (not having to monitor registration as closely), and a great service to students.

  @Melinda - You may be able to accomplish this with the data slicer. If you can filter down to the group of students you need to enroll you should be able to bulk enroll that group in a group of courses. If you need help just send us a support request.

  Where do I bulk register students for multiple courses? I only see the possibility of registering multiple people for one course at a time.

  @Melinda - You'll have to do each course individually, but you won't lose your filtered group so you can just do them one after another on the same group of students. Hopefully that won't take too long.

  We want to register each new student for all courses in the group as soon as s/he is admitted and not wait until we have a large of group of admitted students. So it's individual students we'd like to register for all courses in a group, not the other way round.

  Could that be a feature worth pursuing?

  We could also use this feature to be able to have a group of courses (e.g. first year Music classes), that we can register a student for all at once.  For our 1 year programs, we manually register students for their 5-6 courses per term.  It would be amazing, if we could just  add a student and then select a "course group" for registration and add them to all of those classes at once.  I know this is an older post, so wonder if there has been any movement in past few years.
