Dee McOwen Dec 13, 11:54 AM PST When looking at gradebooks, our faculty see a grade of P for students in his/her course that is graded on a pass/fail basis and assume the passing grade has already been entered. Solution? |

Toby Robinson Official comment If a student doesn't have assignment grades and their final grade is equal to the default final grade (P/F default is 100, non-P/F default is 0) Populi will now show their final grade as --.

Gwen Scheirer I, too, would like to see this

Jessica Babaker Each time a new course is created and students are enrolled, the final grade automatically shows 100, PASS. Can this be made to automatically show 0, IN (and the other options listed by the original poster)?
As it stands, the students and administration are getting the wrong impression, at a glance.
All of our final grades are entered manually, so they need to be reviewed before course finalization. Currently, when enrolling students, I must set all final grades to 0, then update again with the actual final grade to finalize the course.
It would save time when creating a course to be able to skip this step!
