Our academic award titles (honors) are lengthy, such as:
Marlin E. Miller award for excellence in theological studies.
The length of the field cuts off after 50 characters. Could these fields be expanded?
Our longest award title is, "Award for Excellence demonstrated in the area of Christian Faith Formation with exceptional work in Formation in Worship and the Arts"
Our only alternative is to enter a term comment, which is really not applicable, since the award covers the student's entire academic career. Other reasons we would prefer to use the honors field instead of term comment:
1) multiple awards must be contained within one entry for term comments (cannot have multiple separate comments for a term.)
2) Honors show up at the beginning of the transcript so are very clear, term comments seem a bit like an afterthought.
3) Cannot query on the term comment field, but you can on the honors field.
