The online letter of recommendation process is for the most part smooth, but there is one feature that has been overlooked now for a while.
--> It is making the applicant able to "re-send" the invitation to their recommender without having to contact the school, tell us which recommender, and then have us re-send on their behalf. Many recommenders do not pay attention to the request email and applicants are left needing to re-send the email with instructions on how to upload. These extra steps require school administration to be involved when students should be able to click a button to "re-send" the email on their own if the recommender has not uploaded their letter.
--> Along the same lines, students sometimes need to change the recommender and cannot do so themselves.
Is there any reason why these features could not be implemented? This is time-consuming for school staff and something most programs can do. We brought this up to Pupuli originally 4 years ago.
Thank you,
Stefanie
