When we choose to import courses from a previous term, could you add the option of importing (or cloning?) the meeting day(s), time(s) and class room location(s)? (I'd prefer the option to choose each one individually but don't mind if I must choose these three as a group.)
Having this feature would be a real time saver!

yes, please!! Many of our courses will meet in the same location - for example the science lab classes will always be in the science labs, Music Classes must always be in the music rooms,etc..... One of the most manually intensive process of creating a new semester is the meeting times/rooms!
any update on this? we still have to commit a huge amount of time to re-adding all the times and locations each term, when they almost always remain the same. would be awesome to implement.

How do I turn this off for faculty!??!?!? As the registrar, I have set the new semester meeting times for all of the courses. But now, every time one of the faculty members clones their course, it changes the meeting times without notifying me! Students have been unable to sign up for classes because a meeting time has been changed to a conflict when a conflict did not exist!
Also, since we use the Google calendar events created by Populi to schedule Zoom Room meetings for our classes, if one is changed, it deletes the current meeting calendar event including the Zoom meeting!
I realize this is a convenient upgrade for some, but it has just made my life as the registrar very difficult!

It looks like they are in habit of selecting the option of "clone all" from the previous semester. They do not need to clone everything.from a previous semester. They can chose to not clone the meeting times from a previous semester.
Benjamin Olson - Keith Swartzbaugh is correct, they just need need to not check Meeting Times. It's not checked by default so maybe they are just clicking Check All out of habit.
I just sent an email to warn the teachers not to do this. However, I don't understand why teachers have the ability to change their class time at all. Class times are usually set by the registrars or academic offices. If they had the ability before, at least it was buried in settings, out of sight out of mind. Now it's just an accidental click away.
This wouldn't be such a drastic problem if we didn't also use those calendar meetings to set up our Zoom Rooms meetings.
