Two ideas here:
1. Could there be a way to standardize the entry of extensions in contacts' phone numbers? We have a number of profiles where the "Work" # is listed as "800-123-4567, ext. 321" or "800-123-4567, extension 321" or "800-123-4567 (ext 321)" etc. This makes our data more difficult to review. It would great if each phone number (or at least "Work" #s) could be entered with a main line in one field and the option to add an extension in a separate field. If these entries could then somehow be displayed in a single field as "800-123-4567, ext. 321" or similar, that would then be amazing.
Result: "(800) 123-4567, ext. 321"
2. Could there be a way to add an (optional) more detailed description to phone numbers? In addition to the primary label, especially for "Other" numbers, we might want to indicate that a phone number belongs to a certain friend or family member, or is only to be contacted during certain hours, for instance.
