We would like to suggest some modifications to the FERPA waiver status notifications:
1. Include the status in the email sent for a reference request
2. Display the FERPA waiver status in a more emphatic way on on the reference request email and the letter submission form
Examples:
"NOTE: the applicant has waived their FERPA rights of access to this reference"
or
"NOTE: the applicant has NOT waived their FERPA rights of access to this reference".
