Currently, the application shows all specializations in one drop-down list. So we have students who pick a minor, and don't pick a major. Or recently, one picked a track and didn't pick a major....
Yes please! I occasionally have to email students to confirm what they are intending. Or they will pick a concentration meant for a major they are not in, etc.
Even with explicit instructions in the text field of the application that states please choose a MAJOR, the students jump forward to minors and tracks... It happens more often than you would think..
