Faculty alerts for new Lessons disappear 24 hours after the lesson becomes available. However, the alerts will remain visible for students until they click to open the lesson. Please make that an editable feature or make the alerts for students also automatically disappear after 24 hours.
Most of our lessons do not require students to click into them. We put resources, materials, and class recordings in Lessons. The students only click them if they need them. It's not required and the alerts clutter up their Home screen, making the alerts themselves useless because there are too many and are therefore ignored.
