I recently needed to pull up assignments for an individual student to see if they had been completed. I had to go to each class, then assignments, then open each individual assignment to see if it was completed. It would save hundreds of hours by being able to pull up all assignments for one student across all classes for a term. Please? Pretty please? Pretty please with sugar on top?

Marybel Good We also need this. Not only are we challenged to figure out what assignments are outstanding over time, but our students are really struggling to figure out what assignments they still need to complete. Our terms are non-standard and some of our courses run a long time, so this is a problem for us.

Adam Sentz Cristel Phelps - If you click the course name on an advisee page you'll go straight to the student's Roster > Assignments page for that course. Very soon we'll have indicators to show activity on those assignments on that view so even if they aren't graded yet you should have a pretty good idea.
Marybel Good - If assignments are set up with due dates, students should have pretty clear Alerts in Populi when they have uncompleted work. If you reach out to Populi Support with some details we can take a look and see if there's anything we can recommend to make this more clear for students.

Renee Smith As a student, I would love a cumulative list of all my assignments across my classes! Being able to navigate all of my work across a multi-class course would be extremely helpful, both for tracking what's coming due and for reviewing when assignments have been graded across my courses. As a parent enrolled in many "courses" within one overarching program, there's a lot of clicking around to figure out whether things have been graded or new assignments have been posted. I'm pretty tech-savvy, but I definitely find the navigation cumbersome across my courses.
A different student in my Montessori training course has asked about this feature almost daily since we started a few weeks ago! In an adult-learning environment with vast diversity in tech savvy among my classmates, some of my less-savvy classmates would be particularly supported by this feature - the navigation for non-tech adults is extremely frustrating... especially when it comes to tracking and finding where to submit work for all of these sub-courses within our training program. I'd be happy to chat with anyone on the development team if further information would be helpful. :)

Renee Smith Adam Sentz, I'm finding that my alerts show the most recently "opened" assignments or the upcoming due dates, but only show a few assignments at a time in that section. I need to be able to see a list that includes all my assignments for ALL of my courses for easy reference and ease of tracking instructor feedback with fewer "clicks" in the system to locate things. I'm in a year-long Montessori training with trainers on two continents, so feedback timelines are all over the place, and I worry that I might miss an email alert about a posted grade that needs a resubmission and end up with a bunch of last-minute re-submits (like that dream of waking up on the last day of college only to find out I was enrolled in a class I never showed up to that will now prevent my graduation).

Tara Gallagher Following! Our students have asked about what Renee is suggesting on a daily basis. A to do list per class is not enough support. They stress the importance of a list that includes all the assignments, their due dates, and (most importantly) status of completion.
