  If by student view you mean a way to toggle so that we can see only what an enrolled student would see (or faculty member, for faculty view), in order to demonstrate populi features or take screenshots, I too would like this. As for now we have created "sample student" and "sample faculty" profiles which we enroll or assign as needed, then log in as in order to do demonstrations for that audience, or take screenshots. It is a cumbersome process, if simple.
