Hiding the new School Calendar from the calendar menu

Would it be possible to hide or remove the default School Calendar which has been added in the recent calendar update. Due to some critical third party integrations our institution will continue using Google Calendar for our campus-wide events. Having an empty School Calendar on Populi which can't be hidden is bound to introduce some confusion among our users.
