We would be interested in having a feature where communication plans could be sorted/categorized by roles/departments so that we can view the communication plans only related to our department or that we use.

This would be very efective.
In our case, Financial Aid has created it's own comunication plans using its templates.
Since comunication plans are public, when other staff or faculty want to use a template, financial aid templates that are attaced to a public comunication plan are visible to these roles, whom should not have access to such templates.
Is there a way that comunication plans are attached to certain roles, or you may specify which roles can access the comunication plans or templates attached to these comunication plans? Thanks.
