We are requesting the ability to create an automation that sends a notification when a student has registered for their first credit-bearing course in a program. (We submitted a ticket requesting this, but apparently the functionality does not currently exist.)
We already have notifications for each time a student registers for a course, but our admissions team is particularly interested in newly-accepted students.
In other words, if a student's Term Units Attempted changes from {blank} or "0" to ">0" in the student's Most Recent Program Entrance Term, the automation would send the following email:
TO: [Admissions Team]
SUBJECT: [StudentFirstName] [StudentLastName] Has Registered for [AcademicTerm]
BODY: [StudentFirstName] [StudentLastName] has registered for at least one credit-bearing course in [AcademicTerm]. Please ensure the student's academic and admissions information is correct and complete.
