Hello,
Please add a feature asap to total the donations amounts within a specific filter/report. We currently have to download it off, open in excel, and calculate the sum of all the donations.

Ryan Ready Official comment The Donations and Donors reports now display the total just under the filter conditions. This has also been added to many other financial reports.

Adam Sentz Jacqueline Roatch - Could you tell us more about the specific problem(s) you are trying to solve or questions you are trying to answer? We're discussing ways to address this, and understanding the problem better may help. It might seem like a simple thing to just add totals, but when the report could possibly contain hundreds of thousands of rows it can be problematic.

Kristina Szoke We are also working on year end donations and I am trying to find out what is the total amount of donations received for a specific campaign. We just need a column at the right side of the report/filter that would say total of the donations.

We find it very inconvenient to download an excel spreadsheet and then create a "sum" equation to determine the totals of a certain giving range.
In Financial > Donations > Donations, when we create a filter report, we would like it to say the total for that entire filter report right in Populi. It would simply add the amount columns together and could be a page-by-page total, or an entire report total. It could be listed below the filter box but above the individual records, or simply at the end of the page.

Jacqueline Roatch We would like to see dollar amounts, both for the donors screen and the donations screen (especially the donations screen). It would be easy to add it directly to the right of the number of results to say "total of $xxx".
