The new degree audit features are great - but I was hoping substitutions and waivers could apply to COURSE GROUPS not just courses alone. Transfer work operates this way, so it would not be a big stretch to do the same in the degree audit.
Exceptions are not a great alternative because it doesn't connect to the course - only changes values in the course group. So the course you are using as an exception is still hanging out there as an unused elective where you really mean for it to substitute in a course group (and not a specific course).
