Want ability to use custom term fields in forms (and emails, if possible)

We use forms to collect externship attendance on students from their preceptors (who are not Populi users). It would be extremely helpful if we could include custom term fields in these forms, as otherwise, we have to create custom student fields for every term, so that we don't lose student data should they withdraw from the program and re-enroll. It would also be helpful if custom term fields were variables that could be included in emails.
