More than Text for News Items

I would like to be able to post images and/or video on the news feed for students and staff to see on their home page.

The ability to have more lines of text visible without clicking "read more" would be helpful - as it is, there is only about two-three lines of text available.

The ability to block, edit or delete user comments on News Items would be great too.

Would it also be possible to make the "teaser" in the newsfeed show a few more lines of information?

@Justin - it will be a bit taller in the next release - you'll see about 4 lines instead of 2.
