Is there a way to do a global "clear" of all items listed on your bulletin board? Especially older postings?
This would be a helpful feature to provide a clean slate for new terms or new years.

Deborah Forteza At least, it would be nice to be able to turn off old news. We used to be able to do it, but with the new design it seems that that feature is no longer an option.

Shane Flynn I'm wondering if they have made a change as of this morning because my home page is quite clean now... No recent activity.
Can we get clarity as to what defines recent activity? 30 days? 1 week?

Adam Sentz @Robert - The Bulletin Board is meant to facilitate public social interaction amongst people at your school. The ability to delete posts is so that you can correct mistakes or get rid of posts that you find inappropriate. If you don't want interactions to be posted on your profile you might just want to use email instead.
@Deborah - if you don't want news to show up any longer you can always delete it. Do you want to be able to un-publish items without deleting them?
@Shane - your home page feed is blank because all of Visible's news items have been deleted in the past few weeks and you don't follow anyone. "Recent activity" might not be the best thing to say there - it just means that there's nothing for you to see. Items will continue to appear there indefinitely until they are pushed down the timeline.

Adam Sentz @Deborah - Gotcha. We'll definitely take that into consideration. If you have items that you'll probably post on a more regular basis it's totally fine to just post them again - that way any comments will be preserved and the items will display in the feed according to when they were posted. The idea is that the news feed is more of a blog-style, continuous feed with the ability to pin important announcements to the top of the feed rather than just a way to post announcements for a certain time. We found that, with the old way, many school's feeds were blank a lot of the time and it seemed like a missed opportunity to promote interaction between the school and all the users logging in.
For now, if you really want to pull something out of the feed but not delete it, you can always change the publish date to some point in the future.

Adam Sentz @Eddie - Bulletin Board posts can be deleted by clicking the three dots icon at the top right and choosing the Delete option. If you require further assistance please open a support request.
